**Review**
The album title came to fruition as Plumb explains, "...By the time I made this album I had resolved much
of the discord in my life. To me, ‘resolve’ does not always mean ‘fix.’ It may mean that I’ve resolved to
accept a certain situation as it is, or I have resolved to change my expectations of a person... My objective
was to communicate the message of chaos and resolve together.”
Chaotic Resolve features the hit-singles I Can't Do This, Better and Cut.
I Can't Do This is Plumb's first single from the album and is about relying on God in all
situations. Better continues with one of the themes of the album: accepting people as they are
and trying to love the people that hurt you.
Real-Life Fairytale is a beautiful pop song about being in love and stands out as it is juxtaposed with
many contrasting rocky, edgier songs on the album. The album also features a wonderful take on Michael W. Smith's
Pray For Me. With a strong dance rhythm and equally strong pop-vibe, this is a fantastic song which helps
us to understand that God has hand-crafted a different plan for each one of us and instead of being afraid we
should embrace the changes that God puts in front of us and fully rely on him, knowing that "There's a greater love
that holds us."
