**Biography**
Christafari is one of the most popular and pioneering Christian reggae bands, selling cumulative album sales of
three hundred and seventy thousand units to date. Christafari is led by Mark Mohr, who is considered by many to be the
founder of Christian reggae music, and is a former Rastafarian,
the goal of the band is to convert Rastafarians to Christianity through their music, a blend of both traditional and
contemporary dancehall reggae.
The name comes from the New Testament Greek and is the name given to "a group of people who collectively represent Christ."
The line-up has changed considerably, and more than sixty members have feautured on either stage or in the studio
over the last two decades.
