**Biography**
Formally known as the World Wide Message Tribe, The Tribe were a part of The Message Trust, a
English organisation based in Manchester. The Tribe was originally started by Mark Pennells
and Andy Hawthorne, who were doing lots of school evangelism together and found that performing
their own songs provided a natural gateway to preaching.
The most popular songs were Jumping In The House Of God from the album Revived and the title
track from Frantik.
The band line-up evolved considerably over the years but their mission stayed the same:
"to communicate the gospel to young people in Greater Manchester."
