Painting high gloss bedroom furniture?
I’m redoing my bedroom from brown colors to black and grey. I have a high gloss finish dresser, nightstand, headboard and chest that’s brown and part of a bedroom set that I want to paint black with a high gloss finish instead of buying a new set. What’s the best and most efficient way to do this? How do I prep the surfaces since they are high gloss? Thanks!
You can use a liquid sander that comes in a can and you wipe on. It de-glosses the paint so you can then prime with a product like KILZ, then paint the new color.
